I designed a series of native IBM Connections apps for iOS, Android, and Blackberry. IBM Connections is an enterprise social networking suite that includes a profile directory, microblogging, file sharing, and community-based collaboration. The mobile apps used a "hybrid" technique of displaying a web-based user interface inside a native shell application. .

The applications use device-appropriate navigation techniques and OS integration. For example, the iOS app has a static toolbar with a series of navigational controls wheras the Android app relies mainly on the back button and physical menu key for navigation. The apps also offer camera integration for sharing pictures in status updates and uploading photos to community media galleries.
